I want to go to the zoo
Spend the day
With children and their parents
Eating popcorn
Hoping the lion is awake
To tire myself from walking
All day in the sun
I want to go to the zoo
But like when I was a kid
Before I knew to wonder
If the animals were sad
Although, I always suspected
The polar bears were
